What 63 microns actually looks like.
A ceramic coating puts one to three microns on your paint. ICON Rocklear puts 63 on in a single pass, bonded to the factory clear coat, with 75x the tensile strength of a ceramic coating. Because it goes on thick, the clear coat does not need to be cut back first. ICON Rocklear only adds.

Built and proven before it was sold.
Our developers have been working in coating science since 2012. We had coatings that outperformed the competition at the time, then ceramic coatings and stronger sealants arrived. To stay ahead we had to be much better, so we started again from the materials up.
2016 produced the first ICON Rocklear prototype. Field testing was commissioned immediately on more than 100 vehicles, in one of the most climate varied places on earth: temperatures from -58°C to 45°C, over gravel, ice, sleet, heavy rain and intense UV.
ICON Rocklear protected in those conditions without a single failure. Accelerated lab testing followed and confirmed what the field showed. It protects thoroughly, for years.

Protection that holds up
ICON Rocklear sits between a ceramic coating and paint protection film, and it takes the best of both. It goes on thick, it bonds permanently, and when life happens it can be repaired. A damaged panel gets corrected or re-coated on the spot, with no stripping the car back and no starting over. Our I.C.E. technology, Interlocking Coating Enforcement, is what makes that possible.
One inspection, not an annual bill
Most ceramic coatings sold with warranty coverage want an annual inspection back from you every year, and skipping it ends the coverage. What you get for that money is a decontamination wash and a spray-on booster, a sacrificial layer on top of a sacrificial layer.
ICON Rocklear works differently. One inspection inside the first 18 months is the whole of the scheduled service, and nothing is sold to you at it. You drive it.
Scratches can be repaired
Most scratches caused by life cut straight through a ceramic coating. Paint protection film is thick, but a serious scratch damages the film beyond repair. With ICON Rocklear, serious scratches from road debris or vandalism can be repaired, and our technicians can often do it on site.
Minor swirl marks from washing usually come out with a one-step paint correction.
Where the money goes
Full-body paint protection film on a standard coupe or sedan often runs past $6,000. A ten-year ceramic coating can still cost more than $2,000 and it is a thin sacrificial layer.
ICON Rocklear sits between them. Protection that stands up to Ontario roads season after season, a coating that can be repaired instead of removed, and one application instead of a yearly bill.
Wraps, film and decals go on top
ICON Rocklear takes vinyl wrap, paint protection film and decals over the top. Film installed over ICON Rocklear picks up the brilliance underneath, and the coating keeps acting as a barrier for your paint if that film is ever removed. It can also be painted over, so it is body shop safe.
Lifetime workmanship, anywhere in the world
Every installation carries a lifetime workmanship warranty from the facility that applied it, and that cover travels with you anywhere in the world. ICON Rocklear is applied only by trained technicians in certified facilities, which is how the result stays the same from one shop to the next.
